Foodlex is operated by Stephan Buchfink as a sole proprietorship. As a small business within the meaning of § 19 UStG, no VAT is shown on invoices. Foodlex offers a free plan at no cost as well as the paid plans Starter, Pro and Team.
Liability for content
As a service provider we are responsible for our own content on these pages under the general laws, pursuant to § 7 (1) DDG. Under Articles 4 et seq. of the Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065), however, we as a service provider are not obliged to monitor third-party information transmitted or stored, or to investigate circumstances that indicate unlawful activity. Dispute resolution

A link to the European Online Dispute Resolution platform (ODR platform) no longer appears here, because the platform no longer exists: “Regulation (EU) No 524/2013 is repealed with effect from 20 July 2025” (Article 1 of Regulation (EU) 2024/3228), and the ODR platform “shall be discontinued” (Article 2(1)). The obligation to provide such a link therefore no longer applies.
